★★★★★

MaryCruz · 20/08/2023 08:39

Today marks the first day of my journey with Rybelsus, I acquired from Online Pharmacy. Not referring, just information. My current weight stands at 14 stone 5 pounds, and my height is 5 feet 8 inches. I took my first tablet right when I woke up. I'm excited about this new chapter and would love for anyone interested to follow along. I plan to provide updates on my weight loss progress on a weekly basis, optimistically hoping for positive results. Joining this journey could be a great opportunity for us to share tips, experiences, and encouragement. I understand the importance of consistency and patience in this process, and I'm prepared for the ups and downs. It’s a step towards a healthier lifestyle, and I’m curious to see how Rybelsus will work for me. Let’s embark on this path together, sharing insights and supporting each other along the way.

Hi everyone, I have been taking Ozempic for the past 2 months but I’m struggling to get it now as it’s out of stock everywhere. I was thinking of switching to Rybelsus as I understand it’s the same drug just in tablet form. Has anyone switched? x

KayliDzhener · 10/10/2023 07:57

No I haven't, no one has mentioned it

CrystalVision · 10/10/2023 10:58

Not me. The delivery was too tricky for me. I have seen other threads discussing switching.

MaryCruz · 10/10/2023 11:30

they arrived this morning - and look ok...
Jeez $300 nearly on diet drugs - how messed up is that?

TangoBrava · 10/10/2023 11:34

I know @MaryCruz 😔 It is a lot of money.

But I guess we're saving money by eating less 🤷🏻‍♀️ Well, hopefully for me soon.

Day 6 for me and I feel sick with heartburn. But, I do also feel FULL and not really keen on eating anything.

I am forcing myself to eat a little bit now or I think I may actually be sick. I don't crave anything though, which is a bit weird. I wasn't expecting anything to start working for the first month.

KayliDzhener · 10/10/2023 13:08

@TangoBrava it did work quite quickly for me too. I'm about to go to 14mg at the weekend and not looking forward to the switch 😔 as the first few days are terrible for me. Try the guardium if you can stomach it.

CrystalVision · 10/10/2023 13:16

Day 17 with last 3 on 14mg and not much happening. Brain fog gone and I have more energy exercising. You all give me hope something will happen soon. I am taking the properly, hours before eating/drinking so I just need to wait. Plus side no ozempic face going this slowly 😀

Same here! A few months in & have now been offered the tablets (3mg starting dose) as an alternative. I'm not happy at the prospect of having to start from scratch, iykwim? At the same time, don't want to risk having any unpleasant side effects if I were to get the 7mg.

KelmenaBallerina · 11/10/2023 12:32

Let me know how you get on with the tablets @JoanneD. I have a week left with my pen and then I’m on holiday for 2 weeks but then might start the tablets

RubyRed · 11/10/2023 13:11

Day 6 for me and I’m happy so far. I do feel sick, the sort of constant but low level nausea I had when I was pregnant, but I don’t feel like I’m actually going to be sick so I’m ok with it. I didn’t expect to feel so different so quickly, but it’s like a switch has been turned off when it comes it food. I don’t want it, I don’t think about it and I don’t really enjoy it.

4lbs down which I’m very happy with.

JoanneD · 11/10/2023 13:14

I haven’t ordered them yet… still have another couple of 1mg doses in my pen.👍
I use Safe Meds & they’ve just told me that the Rybelsus 3mg dose for 4 weeks is non negotiable. I’ll also have to start again with the 0.25mg dose if I choose to switch back to Ozempic, when it’s back in stock 😬

MaryCruz · 11/10/2023 15:58

not saying you should, but when I spoke to Safe Meds I offered to send proof of what I had been on from HE and that they were out of stock

KayliDzhener · 11/10/2023 16:09

I've had another sicky day today throwing up yellow bile. I didn't eat anything yesterday as I was really busy and went to bed. Put the tablet on my tongue and threw up immediately. Managed to calm myself and swallowed it a bit later but still feeling off. Two more days till the dreaded 14mg

KayliDzhener · 11/10/2023 16:10

Heath express are real sticklers for the rules. I wanted to stay on 7mg for another month but they wouldn't let me.

Hello,

Bizarrely though HE let me have another month of 7mg…

Sorry you’ve been sick, I’m waiting to see how you feel on 14mg as am really not wanting to feel like I did when I started 7mg 🤢

No symptoms here and just one tablet left of first lot of 7mg. Have put on a couple of pounds, defo have felt more hungry and things that I really had gone off have started to creep back into my diet!

KelmenaBallerina · 11/10/2023 18:11

@JoanneD Safe Meds have stock just now x

Madonna · 11/10/2023 18:39

I've just ordered the 14mg from Safe Meds as HE were out of stock earlier. I found that the 'morning sickness' type of feeling happened when I hadn't eaten enough the day before, so I now make sure I have things like an apple to snack on. (God that sounded virtuous!)

I'm half a stone down after two months, so not brilliant so far. If the 14mg doesn't seriously shift some of the fat then I'm going to give up.

me too - I bought 2 lots of 14mg from QM as thats how much I'm prepared to 'go' if theres no change by the end of that, then i'm giving and will have to face I have wasted near on $600

KayliDzhener · 11/10/2023 20:55

Yep I think it's my own fault. I work 4 jobs and it just so happened I had to do all of them yesterday due to the bank holiday so I was in it from 6am to 10pm then went straight to bed. Had some toast today and half a burger so feeling better,

TangoBrava · 12/10/2023 07:28

A switch definitely hasn't been switched for me.

I do feel full, and I am getting acid reflex, but after the one day of feeling sick, I am feeling much better.

But a switch hasn't switched.

I was doing fine though food wise yesterday until the evening when I had a bottle of wine and four pieces of toast 😔

I need to be making better choices.

What level are you on? It was immediate for me, just the smell of wine made me heave and it actually tasted like vinegar. Toast is perfect food though bland and dry as recommended. Hopefully it will switch soon for you, when it does there is no willpower or choices to make really as I am not hungry or thirsty at all. My productivity is off the scale at work as no breaks I just go all day. I am worried about malnutrition though so must remember my vitamins.

Hope the magic happens soon

CrystalVision · 12/10/2023 09:57

I think there are side effects which are quick, horrible but do cause rapid weight loss, the effects which take longer. I have done 8 days on 7mg and now 4 days on 14mg. No side effects at all but now starting to get mild nausea. A bit like mild motion sickness. I still feel hungry and can eat normally. The difference seems to be I don't really want to eat. I eat to stop feeling hungry and I stop when I feel full which is sooner. So its more like a boost of willpower and I find it easier to stick to my diet and exercise plans. I think I may have lost a few lbs but it's not a miracle pill for me. But having seen the sagging from oxempic and being 53 I am glad it's slower if frustrating. I have order two months of 14mg but that's it. Stopping after that.

CrystalVision · 12/10/2023 10:27

Miscounted days somewhere. Will be 3 weeks on Monday. Although I skipped day 5 and 6 because of my BP scare. BP now lowest its ever been.

RubyRed · 12/10/2023 18:01

I feel much better today, no nausea at all. I wasn’t hungry this morning so didn’t eat until lunchtime, but this afternoon can feel my appetite coming back slightly. I’m not craving sugary things as I would but I definitely feel like I’m settling in to the dose.

My worry is that I become used to the 3mg before it’s time to move up a dose, has this happened to anyone?
