Today marks the first day of my journey with Rybelsus, I acquired from Online Pharmacy. Not referring, just information. My current weight stands at 14 stone 5 pounds, and my height is 5 feet 8 inches. I took my first tablet right when I woke up. I'm excited about this new chapter and would love for anyone interested to follow along. I plan to provide updates on my weight loss progress on a weekly basis, optimistically hoping for positive results. Joining this journey could be a great opportunity for us to share tips, experiences, and encouragement. I understand the importance of consistency and patience in this process, and I'm prepared for the ups and downs. It’s a step towards a healthier lifestyle, and I’m curious to see how Rybelsus will work for me. Let’s embark on this path together, sharing insights and supporting each other along the way.
Are you going to try alternating days? I also have 14mg arriving today.
Hmm I don't know yet, I will check the forums and see what people say but I probably will take as directed cos that's how I roll

i dont know, I filled out the form and said i had used it before, and wrote that my normal supplier was out of stock???
I’m really pleased to find this thread, I’d been following the Ozempic threads but felt like a fraud alongside all the needle chat.
I am on day 3 and feel off but not terrible, almost like a hangover. Some of this might be sugar withdrawal though as I was eating far too much processed, sugary rubbish.
One question about the time of day that everyone is taking their tablet. First thing in the morning is logical, but it is a pain waiting half an hour to have a cup of tea or coffee. I always get up in the night for the loo, do you think it would be ok to take it then instead? I assume my body would still absorb whilst I was asleep, even if a little slower than usual.
That sounds good. Let us know if the delivery goes OK? The suppliers that don't do too many checks are normally a bit more expensive. I will try them if your order goes OK

Welcome to the chat RubyRed. I take mine when I wake in the middle of the night. I am on day 10 of 7mg and not seeing a huge difference. Maybe because I go back to sleep?

I used to take mine in the night about 4 am when I got up for a wee but the heartburn was awful. I read that you shouldn't lie down after taking them so now I take when I get up. By the time I've showered and dressed the half hour is gone and my tea is drinking temperature.

No I went straight to 7mg as I always need higher doses of medication. Clinic didn't question it.
Thanks both, I will try switching my morning routine around and showering first instead of my usual which is a cup of tea whilst sorting out DS and then getting myself ready last.
I am starving!!! Have 4 days (I think) left of 7mg, have put on 1/2 pound since yesterday (not much I know but it’s gone the wrong way!) and I’m really wanting junk (which hasn’t really happened since I started these tablets). I don’t really want to move up to 14mg (plus I ordered another month of 7mg thinking I’d be fine on it) as worried about being poorly like the start of 7mg. Think I may have to go to bed to stop me eating. Anyone else experienced this?

This is what I do, wake take tablet then jump in shower. By the time I’m dressed it’s always later than 30 mins so can have a cup of tea before school run! Good luck!
I moved to 14mg today but I was starving today. I find I am hungry but don't really want to eat anything and I do get full more quickly
I've not really wanted to eat for the past 7 weeks am forcing myself. I have a few days left of 7mg. 2lb to my second stone off so hopefully will be on track by switch day.
Well, I haven't had any side effects after five days. But I also managed to put a few lbs on this weekend 🙈
I need to start being really strict with food intake now, I know.
I really want these first 30 days to speed up though. It seems really weird that it takes that long to get used to a starter dose before it actually makes any difference once on the next dose (and probably more the high dose after that!)
So I am paying for one-two months of it not making any difference 🤷🏻♀️
@TangoBrava yes I agree - i have spent... 149 + 159 + 298 - over $600 on this, and just praying it works - I have 2months and 8 days left to see

Advised not getting pregnant (unlikely as I'm 51) and to eat a diet low in carbs

So at least I know the tablets are doing something and aren't just sugar tablets 😆
