Rybelsus for Weight Loss

★★★★★

MaryCruz · 20/08/2023 08:39

Today marks the first day of my journey with Rybelsus, I acquired from Online Pharmacy. Not referring, just information. My current weight stands at 14 stone 5 pounds, and my height is 5 feet 8 inches. I took my first tablet right when I woke up. I'm excited about this new chapter and would love for anyone interested to follow along. I plan to provide updates on my weight loss progress on a weekly basis, optimistically hoping for positive results. Joining this journey could be a great opportunity for us to share tips, experiences, and encouragement. I understand the importance of consistency and patience in this process, and I'm prepared for the ups and downs. It’s a step towards a healthier lifestyle, and I’m curious to see how Rybelsus will work for me. Let’s embark on this path together, sharing insights and supporting each other along the way.

@LanaRay thanks - i'm spinning between, yay this is working and fuck me I've spent a bloody fortune on magic beans!

LanaRay · 23/11/2023 09:35

I know @MaryCruz i actually have no money to order the damn things until the end of next week and by then I’ll be incredibly close to not having any more tablets so I need to find someone with stock that doesn’t hold my money whilst they wait for stock etc! The stress is real lol

IronHeart · 23/11/2023 20:59

@LoneWolf I do the same thing with clothes, I've a load in the wardrobe with tags still on and slowly I'm fitting in to them. I tried on a dress that I have owned for over 5 years that I love and refused to get rid of or return and it fits, and will soon look ok to go out in, it's such a lovely feeling.

Sometimes I feel like they tablets aren't working and I'm hungrier than I should be, and it's always linked to my cycle, wondering if it's the same for others?

IceCreamWoes · 24/11/2023 07:59

I've taken my first 3mg tablet today. I have two stone to lose, weighed today, 12st7. My weight seems to have shot up recently, no idea why, think I'm potentially perimenopausal 😔

Can I ask for some advice please on timing of taking Rybelsus. I plan to start on Monday. Bought from Numan and had telephone call from clinician who said to take it first thing and then eat 30 mins later. I am not a morning eater at all and so I said to her can I have black coffee in morning and take it later and she just said no. I don't generally eat till around 12-12.30 but I do like my morning coffee. Has anyone tried taking the tablet later than first thing and if so did it work/give side effects? Thanks

MaryCruz · 24/11/2023 12:38

Cant you wait 30 mins before your coffee?

Me too (on cycle possible)

No I always take it first thing. You don't need to eat 30 minutes later though, I only eat once a day about 7pm so don't worry about not wanting to eat till lunch

Ah, yes, you dont have to eat after the tablet, you just can't eat before and 30 minutes after

Honeyandwine · 25/11/2023 08:40

So glad to have found this thread. I started yesterday. Have about four stone to lose.

olddoglover · 25/11/2023 09:06

@MaryCruz
@KayliDzhener
Thankyou both - I hadn't realised I did not have to eat soon after the tablet. Yes I can wait for coffee!

RachelGreensHair · 25/11/2023 11:37

A month on 3mg has had zero effect, pharmacist said they will send out next tablets on 1 July and they will be 7mg - hopefully they'll have them in stock and I will start seeing results :)

RachelGreensHair · 25/11/2023 11:38

@olddoglover I keep the tablets on bedside drawer and cos I don't sleep well I usually wake up at 4am take a tablet, go back to sleep and wake up at 7am for work and have a cuppa at about 8am. Don't know if that's right though!!

olddoglover · 25/11/2023 21:19

@RachelGreensHair thanks will try that. Good luck with your 7kg dose.

IceCreamWoes · 26/11/2023 07:08

Where is everyone buying their 7mg tablets from? I'm struggling to find a supplier and I'm due to finish 3mg shortly

Alexa · 26/11/2023 09:19

I’ve got some 7 mg. I’ve had to abandon it all as l couldn’t sleep on the 3mg. Do you think l can send them back?

l could offer them for sale on here, but that would be drug dealing!

IceCreamWoes · 26/11/2023 12:30

I don't think you can return them because they are prescribed to you, the website I got my 3mg from said that the order could be cancelled until they were despatched and after that can't be cancelled or returned

Honeyandwine · 27/11/2023 20:01

Been taking for three days and have noticed a really dry mouth. Anyone else get this?

KayliDzhener · 27/11/2023 20:22

Yes it's one of the common side effects

Monika · 27/11/2023 21:02

Just started today on 3mg. Not noticing any huge differences; not sure if it's a placebo effect but I do seem to be feeling fuller for longer / noticing satiety, and more control over snacking. Crossed fingers it'll stay this way!

LoneWolf · 28/11/2023 05:26

I'm a month in as of tomorrow and will be doing my weigh in then. After initially not really suffering any side effects I've started to get headaches/migraines on a regular basis so not sure how sustainable taking this will be in the long term as don't want to be taking loads of painkillers every day. I think it must be something to do with my blood sugar levels.

KayliDzhener · 28/11/2023 15:31

Wah, having read on the Ozempic thread that there is now a warning until this time next year I have put in my order early. $192.33 !!!! I could only find one place with stock so I understand they have ramped up the price but gee whizz that's a lot of money. They would let you order two months but I just couldn't press the buy button on nearly $400 quid. Let's see if they let me have it 🤞

KayliDzhener · 28/11/2023 17:41

Nope out of stock too

LanaRay · 28/11/2023 19:51

@KayliDzhener have you found anywhere? It’s on my list to find somewhere tonight as now have the funds. Need 7mg. So worried I won’t find any and will have to stop
