Rybelsus for Weight Loss

★★★★★

MaryCruz · 20/08/2023 08:39

Today marks the first day of my journey with Rybelsus, I acquired from Online Pharmacy. Not referring, just information. My current weight stands at 14 stone 5 pounds, and my height is 5 feet 8 inches. I took my first tablet right when I woke up. I'm excited about this new chapter and would love for anyone interested to follow along. I plan to provide updates on my weight loss progress on a weekly basis, optimistically hoping for positive results. Joining this journey could be a great opportunity for us to share tips, experiences, and encouragement. I understand the importance of consistency and patience in this process, and I'm prepared for the ups and downs. It’s a step towards a healthier lifestyle, and I’m curious to see how Rybelsus will work for me. Let’s embark on this path together, sharing insights and supporting each other along the way.

Eek sorry about all the tummy upsets this week! I've been terrified to eat pizza since I started and now I'm even more scared 😱

@LoneWolf I'm the same, would love to select weight loss from my stomach and double chin please! For some reason it seems like I'm losing from my limbs more which were already quite svelte (apple shape 😭) my legs and upper arms definitely look slimmer.

LoneWolf · 16/01/2024 05:45

I fell in love with Edinburgh as a teenager and would love to go back when the festival is on.

Welcome @PlasticineKing it was me who suggested you move over here and although none of us has experience of ozempic we have lots of experience with rybelsus. There are quite a few threads on reddit about people switching from one to the other though. My suggestion would be to break the tablets in half for the first couple of days to get used to it before taking the full 14mg - to avoid any bad reactions.

To those of you who've had bad tummies, I hope you're feeling a bit better today.

I'm having a day off rybelsus today which I periodically do. Not sure why - some days I just don't feel like taking it and want to see what a difference it makes to my appetite when I don't take it.

Monika · 16/01/2024 09:12

@LoneWolf that sounds like a good idea, it also might prepare you better if you ever have to come off it in future.

I am finally down 1 stone! (In fact 15.5 pounds). It has been pretty slow going after the initial big loss, but steadily going down 1-2 pounds a week which is much healthier and more sustainable. Not going to lie it is frustrating for me how long it takes, and I have to really restrain myself from constant weighing! Apparently it's normal to start getting the blues after the initial exciting weight loss rush. Luckily Rybelsus doesn't easily give me the option of giving up or bingeing (which have scuppered previous diets before!)

I've got no idea why my post from last night has been flagged, I just recommended fibre supplements and a probiotic for constipation issues, and wished @Monika well in moving up doses. I also had a bit of a moan about wobbly loose skin 🤷‍♀️ I'm not sure what was controversial about any of that!

Welcome @PlasticineKing , everyone is lovely here. I would be interested to hear about the differences between the two forms of semaglutide?

RubyRed · 16/01/2024 09:43

@IronHeart I did wonder what you had posted as I could see you had @ me. What fibre supplements do you recommend? I take a decent probiotic already, drink kefir and generally try to support my gut health, but maybe I need to up my game.

IronHeart · 16/01/2024 11:04

@RubyRed I got some chewable ones from Amazon that are sugar free and do the trick! Still no idea what I said that was wrong?

RubyRed · 16/01/2024 11:25

Thank you, will have a look on Amazon.

LoneWolf · 16/01/2024 15:22

@Monika well done on losing over a stone! I am glad you mentioned feeling a bit flat after the initial weight loss as that's how I feel now but I've read a lot online about semaglutide having a depressant effect on some people so it helps to know that it's a side effect.

RubyRed · 16/01/2024 19:53

14mg from Rightangled arrived today. I am going to try halving the tablets to see whether my stomach settles better back on a lower dose as I’ve been unwell all day today.

LoneWolf · 16/01/2024 20:30

@RubyRed halving the tablets is a good idea - I think it's better to build up gradually.

Well having a day off the rybelsus wasn't great - I just scoffed a family bag of crisps. I'm back on it tomorrow!

RubyRed · 16/01/2024 20:46

I’d been on 14mg for six weeks with no issues until last week, it’s so odd.

it’s also crazy how quickly the eating kicks back in after skipping a tablet, especially given the half life, but I have found exactly the same.

KayliDzhener · 17/01/2024 08:53

I think we are different @RubyRed I had a week off and lost 5lb my appetite didn't come back and my self control didn't waiver. What is difficult is the side effects returning when I start taking them again, it's less but still the nausea and heartburn is debilitating.

Monika · 17/01/2024 09:56

It is fascinating quite how unique all our reactions are!

Just to report rightangled came through with some 14mg, feel truly settled now I can ride out this shortage 😎

KayliDzhener · 17/01/2024 10:11

Yep I got my 14mg from right angled and I have a 7 and 14 mg from Numan still and hopefully another 14mg from Numan next week on 25th so I shouldn't run out. Weightloss has slowed down tho, I can't eat less so I guess I need to move more ! Such a lazy trollop ! Still averaging about 8lb a month but it was 14 at the beginning. So seems slower. Slowly getting towards 4 stone but s l o w e r

RubyRed · 17/01/2024 10:22

@KayliDzhener that’s interesting. I do wonder whether my appetite picking up is more psychological than physical.

@Monika great news that you have a delivery too. I now have enough to see me through until Christmas, hoping things start to get better in 2024.

I fell down an internet rabbit hole last night and have found other people who had sudden side effects months in. I am now taking Enterosgel alongside my tablets, which is recommended for IBS so I’m hoping it will calm my stomach down.

Monika · 17/01/2024 11:46

@KayliDzhener you are an inspiration, nearly 4 stone is amazingggg, well done you!

@RubyRed what kind of side effects did you read about?

RubyRed · 17/01/2024 12:33

@Monika i was looking specifically for people who were suddenly getting severe upset stomachs a few months in, which is what has happened to me. It’s rare but does seem to happen.

LanaRay · 18/01/2024 09:59

Morning all, does anyone know if you can take antibiotics with Rybelsus? Just been subscribed erythromycin for tonsillitis and wondering if I should take todays tablet, wonders if anyone else has had to take antibiotics whilst on it?

CrystalVision · 18/01/2024 16:23

@LanaRay yes I took amoxcillin. I left a few hours gap between them just in case. You can check interactions here https://getwellsafely.com/buy-amoxil-usa.html

LanaRay · 18/01/2024 17:06

@CrystalVision thanks for this, I didn’t take todays but will take tomorrows. I find if I miss more than a day my eating is really bad.

Monika · 19/01/2024 10:12

Note to self, don't weigh during my period! Do you folks also gain like, 2-5 pounds during yours? 🤯

RubyRed · 19/01/2024 11:35

Water fluctuates my weight all the time and I weigh myself every morning for exactly that reason.

KayliDzhener · 20/01/2024 10:13

Be careful if you ordered the Berberine, mine was set up as a subscription and they just took a second payment. I haven't even opened the first bottle yet. Just check yours isn't a subscription too.

IronHeart · 22/01/2024 20:56

Is the berberine any good @KayliDzhener ? There was quite a bit of hype about it on one of the other threads but I'm unconvinced, as I've fallen for all the weight loss fads before.....?
